Der vorliegende Holzstich zeugt von Georg Bleibtreus Freundschaft zu Dr. Karl Friedrich Friccius, dem Generalauditeur der Armee und Geschichtschreiber der Befreiungskriege. Dargestellt ist die Erstürmung des Grimmaer Tores zu Leipzig durch Major Friccius am 19. Oktober 1813. Im Vordergrund in der Bildmitte steht Friccius kämpfend und umringt von Feiden.
